Every kid deserves a spot on the court.

Do It With Your Sole Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that removes the cost barrier keeping Central Valley kids from playing futsal and soccer.

Our Mission

Do It With Your Sole Foundation removes the financial barriers that keep low-income and underserved youth from playing futsal and soccer. We pay player costs at qualified clubs and run free community programs led by trained, screened coaches throughout California’s Central Valley.

Our Vision

A Central Valley where every child can experience the benefits of futsal and soccer, regardless of family income, club, or ability to pay.

Talent is everywhere. Opportunity isn’t.

One season of competitive futsal or soccer can cost a family $800 to $4,500 in registration, training, uniforms, tournaments, and travel. In the Central Valley, that price keeps too many kids on the sidelines, no matter how hard they work or how much they love the game.

We started this Foundation because we saw that need up close. Every kid who wants to play, learn, and lead deserves the chance, whatever their family can afford.

What We Do

Player Financial Assistance

We cover registration, training, and league fees for youth ages 5 to 18 who need help. Payments go directly to qualified clubs on the player’s behalf. Every club we support must offer structured training, use licensed coaches who pass background checks and abuse-prevention training, and hold itself to our safety standards.

Free Community Programs

Working with community organizations and public agencies, we run free futsal and soccer clinics for kids from the Central Valley. Every session is led by a trained, licensed and screened coach.

Coaches and Equipment

We invest in coaching education and provide balls, goals, and training equipment, so every program is safe and every kid learns from someone who knows the game.

What We Stand For

  • Accessibility: The game should be open to every kid, whatever their family’s finances.

  • Quality: Every child deserves a knowledgeable, trained coach.

  • Safety: Every coach we fund is screened and trained to protect kids.

  • Honor: We act with integrity and are open about how every dollar is used.

  • Respect: Every player, family, and coach is treated with dignity.

  • Bravery: We push kids and coaches to challenge themselves and grow.

  • Inclusion: Every background, experience level, and ability is welcome.

  • Leadership: Every kid deserves the chance to lead, on the court and off it.

  • Community: Strong programs build strong families and neighborhoods.

Join Our Founding Board of Directors

We’re looking for founding board members who believe every kid deserves a chance to play. This is a volunteer role with real impact: you’ll help shape how the Foundation runs, how it spends every dollar, and how many kids it reaches.

Open Seats

  • Board Chair or Vice Chair: leads the board and keeps the organization accountable to its mission.

  • Treasurer: oversees budgets, financial reports, and internal controls.

  • Secretary: keeps meeting minutes, records, and governance documents.

  • Director at Large: supports outreach, fundraising, partnerships, and youth development.

What You’ll Do

  • Attend board meetings, held at least quarterly, in person in the Central Valley or by video.

  • Review budgets and financial reports and approve major decisions.

  • Help set policy for player assistance, coach standards, and child safety.

  • Open doors to donors, businesses, schools, and community partners.

  • Keep donor, family, and player information confidential.

  • Act in the Foundation’s best interest and disclose any conflicts of interest.

  • Education or youth development

  • Futsal, soccer, or youth sports

  • About 4 to 6 hours a month, including meetings

  • A background check, since we serve youth
